The works in this gallery are the result of an Idea that I had back around 1985. I had been looping a length of adding machine tape at work and noticed it made an interesting shape. I took some home and replicated the shape and photographed it. If was all but forgotten until one day in 2005 as I was prepping for a Photoshop class I was teaching, working with layers. I remembered the shape, recreated it and photographed it, this time as a digital image. Using Photoshop Elements I was able to create all these images from that original shape.
